Has anyone use Vivvi for a nannyshare or nanny in DC? If so, I'd love your thoughts.

My friend is a nanny and she accepted an in-home job through them. She found out the agency misled the details of the position significantly. They also took a significant portion of her pay. I can't remember exactly but I want to say they charged the family $27/hr and she took home $19/hr. She gave notice after 6 weeks with the family (and felt really bad about doing so). |
It looks like the nannies are really employees of the company, not the family. There’s also a ton of micromanagement from them, per the job listings. I wouldn’t be interested, but maybe some firmer preschool teachers would like that level of having others think for them. |
I was employed my vivvi. Just a heads up, us nannies never spoke to the families , all communication was done thru the hiring manager. We had to follow many procedures and follow along with an agenda. Vivvi is over rated and over priced. |
It's all the downsides of daycare for the employee, none of the benefits. |
