| Got an email from our ES principal that test kits will be distributed tomorrow for each student. We are supposed to test each student tomorrow evening. Is this a test to stay? |
| What color school? And why test Friday night? And what if it snows? |
OP here, red school (6.18% as of this morning). No idea what happens if it snows. The email says all kids send home with all learning material and chrome books in case. |
Thanks for sharing, OP. Good luck!! |
| Interesting. Also a red school but no email. So this wouldn’t be a bad idea. Red schools need test to return or bi-weekly tests or whatever. That could be enough to placate the covid cautious and keep schools open. Thoughts and prayers for the 11 schools already guillotined though. |
| Our MS student got hers today. It wasn't presented as a test to stay - just a way to get a better handle on the numbers. You have to report if positive, don't have to do anything if negative. |
+1 didn't get it either. MS in red. |
But it's on your honor so.... |
Our MS student also received a kit today. She was instructed to take the test tonight. |
+1 We got the email today and will get the tests tomorrow. |
So you can swab the dog and stay. Got it. |
DC said they will get sibling to take it because sibling is positive and he wants to stay home |
I'm pretty sure the tests just produce a negative result if you just wet the swab with the test solution. It can't tell what you swabbed. |
| I work at a red school and we have had no word about test kits. I won’t believe we are getting them until one is actually given to me! |
| MoCo plan was to focus on red schools in high needs areas. So that's why not all red schools are getting them right now. Both of my kids are in red schools and no tests given out. |
