| I hid it away so the teen boys and husband wouldn’t eat it before I had a chance to. They have plenty of sweets if they want, but I was saving mine. Now’s the time. Everyone’s asleep, I have a nice cup of tea, go for the chocolate bar and… nothing. Did I hide it somewhere else and forgot? Did someone eat it? Sad. |
| I am right there with you. I had gotten myself some tiny pineapple tarts I wanted to try and had put them in the back of the pantry until I had time. I spent 3 days looking for them- asking everyone if they had seen them. Finally my dh admitted he ate the whole box and didn’t realize they were the pineapple tarts I was looking for. |
| Someone ate it, duh. Teen boys find everything. I sure did. |
This happens to me all the time! Hope you find it OP! You deserve it. Also, go get another one
|
| This is the worst. |
| I have a basket on the very top shelf of the pantry labeled “Mom”. Everyone knows not to touch it. |
| That darn chocolate fairy 🧚🏼♂️….. |
| Next time hide the bar under the snow shovel. |
| Whenever I have something I want for myself, I take it around to all family members and explain that I will kill them if they touch it. |
Haha love this! |

One of my kids and I hide special treats from DH and the other DS because those two ravenous beasts will inhale anything they come across when hungry. Squirrel DS sometimes finds my special spots and adds his stash too, and it’s kind of a bonding thing. We’ve never been discovered.
I’m very sorry about your chocolate bar, OP, but you clearly need to be more devious with your hiding spots. |
| Did you put it behind the oatmeal? Or in the drawer with all the photographs? Those are my spots. |
| I love this post so much. |
| Hide your treats in a Tampon box. |
In my house the equivalent would be the top of the toilet seat. That thing NEVER gets put down. |
