| They are currently 4th in the Championship. Hopefully, he can help them get promoted. |
| Saw him first play live in the NCAA college cup a few years back. He looked like a football player (he was so big but fast). Then he scores a screamer of a goal and I became a big Dike fan at that point. I have been following his career since then. |
| Yeah good for him. He reminds me of Jozy Altidore. |
He’ll be way better than Jozy ever was. |
Maybe but he seems to struggle against similar athleticism and size. |
That’s laughable. He probably won’t even make a World Cup roster. |
| Jozy never did much in England, so I think Dike is already ahead of him in that regard. If West Brom make the prem next season, then we shall really see what he's got. |
| It’s way too early to make any Jozy comparisons, but I look forward to watching Dike. |
Agreed that Jozy was a bust in England, but he played in the Premier league. Dike played in the Championship, a lower level league. He is a Championship level striker. This is a good move for him, he is joining one of the best teams in the Championship, which is his level. |
Here’s some knowledge: 1.) He’s only 21. As a striker, he’s making the move at the perfect time. Plus West Brom. Is a yo-yo team. 2.) Striker is the USMNTs weakest (or one of) positions. Christian Pulisic and Gio Reyna are both attacking mids/wingers and don’t count. If Josh Sargent can continue to get call-ups so can Dike. 3.) He destroyed the Championship last year and the only reason why he came back to Orlando was that the team overplayed their hands and his values on the market. Assuming all goes well the next 2-3 months he will be in the conversation for 2022 in Qatar. Will he be as good as Altidore ? Who knows! Enjoy the ride |
