I'm assuming we will get an email later today that we won't have in person school due to snow. Any predictions on whether it will be a closure, synchronous or asynchronous? Any teachers out there have information?

Somewhere along the line they said that snow days would be asynchronous.

Whoever thought ditching the concept of snow days during a period where kids were locked in their houses for over a year ought to be beaten with a wet noodle.

That makes sense to me for younger kids or kids that can't get out and do outdoor activities. My son is a seventh grader and does outdoor physical fitness with his sports team (play is on pause for now). He'll do the asynchronous work. It's not ideal, because he has ADHD, but he can do some or most of it.
