New to area, parking/commuter options in cbd DC

I will be living in falls church, VA and commuting 2-3 days a week to a job off K street. I could take metro, but what parking options are there in downtown DC? Do I have to pay for monthly parking in a structure? What is the average parking fee per day?

You need to do the math to see if it's beneficial to get a contract, or to pay per day.

My office is at 14th and K. Average per day is $18-$20. Some garages offer early bird, which is a little cheaper.

I think it gets a little more expensive as you go west.
