Post Deleted - Wondering Why for Future Reference

Hiya. I posted on the travel board and cross-posted to general parenting to ask a travel and pumping-related question. The post on the general parenting board was deleted. That's fine, as I got the answers I needed, but I just wanted to ask why it was deleted so that I can avoid that problem in the future?
Was it the cross-post? Or should pumping questions go in a different place? I saw a post about dropping a nursing session on the general parenting board, so think that nursing questions are kosher. Thanks for clarifying, and again I'm asking out of curiosity and a desire to not breach board rules. |

The issue was purely cross-posting. I would have had no problem with the question being posted only in General Parenting. I have a pathological hatred of cross-posting. I will not even try to explain the logic of my position because it may not in fact not be logical. I just don't like cross-posting.

No, I didn't. Your IP address comes up as belong to a network in Tukwila, WA. But, a Supertrain + Wifi = way better than flying. |
