I have a 2019 Subaru Forester, my annual premium is just under $1000 and I have more coverage than you. Are you insuring expensive cars or drivers with records?

I’m a former insurance adjuster and my recommendation is to always have enough liability coverage.

Since VA is state where they came come after your personal assets, the more the better. But at some point, an umbrella policy may make more sense and will cover your house and car.

You have some issues with your driving record? That’s really high for 2 cars.
