Where to buy clothes for 15 year old boy. Kids sizes are too small and adult too loose.

DS is 15 and 5 ft 9 inch and about 125 lbs. We used to buy from Abercrombie & Fitch but their largest size are too short for him. If we go to adult size they look so loose.

Anyone have suggestions for what companies might have sizes that fit?

My son is about that size, maybe not even as heavy, and he wears a men's medium.

my ds is 5'7, 120lbs, long legs. Pant leg length is 31, but they don't do 31. So he wears 30 Old Navy slim fit jeans. Waist size 29.

for shirts, also slim fit, size M. But, my DS probably has a shorter torso than your DS. Find "slim fit" sizes.

H & M and American Eagle.

Try JCrew Outlet - size Small or Medium

I had same problem. J crew mens turned out to be the only place that had pants that fit him. They have some very slim versions. Try to go try on at least once then you will know which ones fit him best

There really is a niche in the market someone should fill. My 16 year old is just starting to fit into some men's pants (although most that are long enough are too big in the waist) but it's been a real issue for the past two years. Thank goodness for some XXL boys pants from Old Navy and Lands End and some belts that kept his men's small pants up. He's been ok on t-shirts/tops though. Men's small and mediums seem to fit when boys XL got too small.

sometimes when they are on the tall skinny side, they won't carry the long length in store, you have to order.

i would say american eagle and h&m are good bets. also levis.

Have you tried Uniqlo? I’ve been told that they are a good option for slim-cut clothing.

also look at Gap men's sizing. There's variation on the leg lengths like with Levis.

For joggers, which is what my 14 year old basically lives in, you might try American Eagle. I noticed they have tall small size. DS went through a period where small was too short but medium too big in the butt and thighs. He never actually tried them, but it seemed that size might fill the gap. He’s 5’8” and 140 now and mostly wears mediums.

14yo DS is 5'9" and 110 lbs. Really difficult size to shop for.

For jeans, he gets American Eagle slim straight. He really needs a 26x32, but I can't find that anywhere, so he lived in the 26x30 for as long as he could, then switched up to the 28x32 with a belt. I had to order both online, they weren't available in the store.

For joggers, Under Armour carries a few styles in a men's small tall. They are a little loose in the waist, but they work.

My son is taller and weighs a wee bit less. We do a lot of Nike clothes which seem to made for thin boys. Old navy slim men's works.

Weird, my 14 year old is 5'11" and 130 lbs and mens medium clothes fit fine. I think he wears a 29" waist and I forget which length for jeans and other pants. Do you want really tight clothes for your DS?
