When is spring break for K-12?

I know this is a DC-specific board, but across the US, when is spring break generally for K-12? Trying to plan a vacation that doesn’t intersect with families traveling for spring break.

In the DC area there is a lot of variation in spring breaks. Nationwide, I'm sure there's even more.

Looking at the crowd calculators for Disney even if you aren't going to Disney might give you a sense of numbers who travel each week.

Easter, a lot of places tie break to Easter.

Many places do it the week prior to Easter. But a large number of school systems do it various weeks in March regardless of when Easter is. I'm a teacher with friends who are teachers in other states and our spring breaks almost never line up.

I was going to make the same suggestion, look at the crowd predictors for Disney World. Very good proxy for when schools are on breaks.
