Salad for roasted duck?

Host is serving roasted potatoes and purple cabbage. I have been assigned the salad. What would you make? This is for Xmas eve.

Field greens with Gorgonzola, dried cherries, etc with a vinaigrette dressing

The “Christmas Salad” is always a big hit with our family:
Mixed greens
An apple chopped
Chopped celery
Walnuts
Bleu cheese crumbles
Vinaigrette made with olive oil, apple cider vinegar & honey

I do greens, beets and goat cheese with citrus vinaigrette maybe some pepitas or nuts for crunch.

I would look for a salad with orange or a citrus vinaigrette. Arugula as a based, maybe fennel, manchego or mixed greens with pomegranate and walnuts.

I would do something simple and fruity.

Option 1 - slivered Dino kale with lemon, olive oil, roasted nuts, Parmesan, and currants.

Option 2 - butter lettuce, shaved fennel, sectioned oranges, olive oil, champagne vinegar.
