Would love to hear from anyone who can share their DC’s results and stats. TIA! |
I assume you are asking about elite admissions ?
Wakefield - 2 students admitted to Yale; 2 to UVA instagram wake2022deciisions to see others |
Wow! I’d be interested in all ED admissions, not just the tip top. Well done to those kids! |

Princeton Duke (2) UVA (5) William & Mary (2) Ole Miss (2) Boston College Tulane Syracuse Haverford Muhlenberg Lehigh Ohio State John Cabot (Rome) Denison Colby ^not complete list, but impressive admissions so far |
Not quite “impressive” but some solid schools. |
Np: I’d say impressive given that some of those schools were safety schools when I was applying to college 20 years ago but now are highly selective and really competitive. BC has an acceptance rate of like 15-20%, Tulane has a 10-12% acceptance rate. Forget about the low acceptance rates at schools like Princeton and Duke. |
My husband does West Point interviews for one of our Congressmen and I’ve seen the resumes of the applicants. It is scary competitive from this area and is most definitely impressive to get into a military academy from Nova |
The decisions for Wakefield and WL are also impressive, IMO |
LOL. You clearly don't understand that anything pertaining to YHS is "impressive." It has to be because if it isn't, then Yorktown isn't so great and special. Nevermind that same list applied to Wakefield would be scoffed upon and belittled by YHS-ers. |
DP. Literally no one is doing that. |
If I had a kid in APS still I would send them through Spanish immersion, Gunston, and Wakefield. Leg up in college admissions. |
