Gift for after school sitter (to accompany cash)

Our former full time nanny now provides after school care for us 3 days/week 9 hours/week). We need a good idea for a physical gift and a sense of what’s a nice amount for a cash gift.

Tip should be at least the equivalent of one week’s pay

I babysat my way through grad school and the gift I appreciated the most was a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. I never would have splurged, but they basically forced me to do something nice for myself.

Tip whatever you’d pay in a normal week. For the gift I usually get her something related to her interests or family-cookbook or kitchen stuff, something for her pet, something for her kids, that kind of thing.
