Hosting Christmas Eve Brunch--need menu and can I buy part from Whole Foods?

Anonymous
Hosting maybe 8 adults:

How can I keep this simple on myself? I used to run back and forth to the waffle iron making waffles; cut 5 lbs of potatoes and made hash browns; etc.

Can you help me with my menu and is it okay to buy some of it from Whole Foods? If so, what is good from the Whole Foods holiday menu?

Thank you very much in advance!

Our WF is already sold out of the popular prepared items. I would continue to seek something that doesn't have you doing nonstop work. What about a strata? Assemble the day before and keep in the refrigerator overnight. Make a fruit salad the night before and maybe get some nice pastries.

Yes, I plan to make quiche pies the night before. Yes, to fruit salad.

Thank you. Just looked and I see that Whole Foods is out of things. Balducchi's still seems open. I also need Christmas dinner for my family--a lot going on and I am obviously delayed.

Definitely a baked French toast, fruit, quiche, bacon and some scrambled eggs. That’s plenty.

For 8 adults I'd do scrambled eggs or quiche, don't need both.

Some may not eat cheese, which is why I scramble eggs.

I would do a baked french toast (made night before) and buy a few quiches and have a fruit salad.

Serve it warm then use the cold leftovers for sandwiches.

Maybe you’ll get a ham for Xmas.
