good restaurant for celebration: Rockville/Bethesda

Anonymous
We moved into our new home yesterday, and I also accepted a new job offer. So much to be grateful for and to celebrate.

Don't want to go to the old standbys....what would be a nice place for a celebration dinner? Kids are 9 and 12 and not too picky.

Would your kids like melting pot or benihana (or even medium rare?). Or summer house santa monica or barrel and crow?

agree with summer house, medium rare, maybe silver or mon ami gabi?

Look at the restaurants at Pike and Rose.

One that does pick-up.

You might want to celebrate, OP, but you don’t want to be gifted Omicron in the restaurant.

Gyuzo is super popular in R'ville.

We love Amalfi. Very simple Italian food that almost never disappoints us.

Kiin Imm is a super popular Thai restaurant. We also had a solid meal at Thai Chef, which is a new restaurant in RTC.

Shi Miaodao for something very casual and a bit different than you may be used to - their soups are excellent!

Ema Rossi for casual Italian/Pizza
