When I was in high school (in the 90s) there was a year where there were 4 or 5 "bomb threats" called into the score by kids who wanted them to close the school (not me, for the record). It worked the first three times and the third time it was a stunning day and we all went to the beach. Then the school wised up and figured out who was doing it and suspended them.
Lots of dumb teenagers out there with no idea that this is pretty awful, especially in this era of school shootings. But it's not new at all, even if using TikTok as a medium is. |
