Had baby 6 months ago and STILL have the awful line down the middle. It's fainter, but very obvious. No bikinis this summer.
Does it ever go away? Any advice on how to get that line to vanish sooner than later? |

is the linea the only reason? you had a baby! what's wrong with it?
anyway if you're BF it will stay longer and for some women it never really go away, sorry. it's hormonal so there's nothing you can do to make it vanish. |
I still have a faint one and my daughter is almost 8. I grew hair along the line, too. I've been waiting for that to go away as well.
I was wondering the same thing. I had read that the line disappears!!! I'm so surprised to read that it never disappears for some people. UGH!
Mine kind of flaked off sometime in the first year - it was really noticeable too since I'm very pale. Strangely, I haven't really developed one for this pregnancy.
thanks. so interesting the variation. we'll see what happens!
I am 8 months postpartum and I still have it, but my doctor told me it would disappear eventually, it just takes time...
I'm 13 months pp and mine is still there...

I'm in my third pregnancy, 35 weeks - haven't gotten it this time, but have also kept my belly out of the sun during vacations this time around. My last pregnancy I had the line for several months afterwards, but didn't keep my tummy out of the sun. Felt like that had something to do with it, but I could be mistaken. Stopped BFing at 6 months with 2nd pregnancy and loofahed the heck out of my stomach - think mine disappeared around 8 months or so and I'm a darker skin tone (half Asian).

I'm the one who posted that I still have the line at 13 months...I was due at the end of March so my stomach definitely never saw the sun the entire pregnancy!
9 mo pp and mine is still there (I am a light skinned white, also). I was hesitant to sun my belly this summer, though, because I when I was pregnant I remember reading that sunning the line will make it darker. I wonder if that is different now that I am no longer pregnant.
