Putting on your hazards does not give you the right to stop anywhere you want. This is true everywhere, but is particularly annoying on narrow streets where it is hard/dangerous to pass, and in shopping centers where there is plenty of parking and you could just pull into a spot and wait. Your convenience does not trump inconveniencing the rest of the world.
Thank you. |
+1. These people are either profoundly unintelligent or fully realized sociopaths. |
| It's particularly annoying in bike lanes and on sidewalks. |
| I'm willing to give delivery drivers a partial pass on this if they are dropping off packages or food and are going to move on after a minute or two. It's annoying, but they are clearly incentivized by more than just laziness. Not sure what the people in shopping centers are doing. |
Entitled is the word I would use to describe them. |
Laziness his goes for uber and cabbies too. you just cannot stop wherever you want. go to the end of the street pull in a drive way, ect... drive drive, than bam, stop put on hazards, while your fare gets their shit together to exit. |
Yeah I love the ones who pull up to the yellow fire lane stop, put on the hazards and get out of the car to go into a store when the first parking space, literally like 8-10 feet away from them is free.
