I humbly apologize…

To all the people I made fun of for spending 7+ dollars on a jar of Rao’s sauce.

My husband (unbeknownst to me) picked up a jar last week and man…that stuff is AMAZING. I’m never going back to Classico.

Yep, it’s totally worth it. Pretty sure I learned about it on here too.

I tried it and didn’t like it at all. I don’t like the chunks.

It's really good. We only buy it on sale. But when it's on sale, we stock up.

My DD does not like chunky sauces but it seems every jar is chunky now. I think I am getting a regular sauce but it’s chunky. Now I just hit it with an immersion blender.

Buy it at Costco! They sell a 2-pack for something like 10.50 and it is on sale 2 bucks off every few months.

I prefer to make my own, without oil, but yes, it certainly saves the day on occasion.

Same. My family will not touch the chunks.

OP here. Well that makes sense. We are a chunky people. We love some chunks! If you don’t, you don’t. But try PP’s method - try the immersion blender!

And? Not everything needs to be a political statement. It’s just some good sauce.

Same here!

Newman's Own marinara is a dupe. No sugar added and like, half the price.

Or Wegmans Grandma's Pomodoro. Maybe a third of the price and tastes fresher and not as oily.
