Extended warranty companies?

We got one, I can't remember the brand. It was like $2k from the dealership. What a waste of money. Only used it once and they covered a whopping $200 out of my over 1k repair bill. I told myself never again and that if I felt I needed a warranty for peace of mind I'd just put the equivalent of what an extended warranty would cost in the bank on a monthly basis.

OP here: let me clarify. This is for a car out of manufacturers warranty.

If having a warranty is *that* important to you, sell your car and buy one that is still under warranty - then buy an extended warranty from the factory.

+1 I’ve had both and just bought another Mopar warranty last week. Never buy the others.

Most car insurance companies also do extended warranties. I'd talk with your insurance company and see what they offer.
