| Mayne's is closed as of 12/10, and Butler's only has 5-6' trees left. Anyone know of Christmas tree farms that still have trees available? |
| Not cut your own, but there’s a lot at Ashton and Mink Hollow Rd. in Highland, MD with a good selection of trees. Plus they’re open late. |

Gaver has 6 foot blue spruce left, according to their website: https://gaverfarm.com/
You waited too long, OP! This happened to us last year and we ended up with a decidedly Charlie Brown-ish tree. This year we went Thanksgiving morning even though it felt so weird, and I’m glad we did. The farm (we go to Pine Valley in Sykesville), was packed with people who had the same idea we did. I kept an eye on their website out of curiosity, and they sold out middle of last week. |
| Artificial trees are better for the environment, you know. |

Is this sarcasm? Artificial trees are worse for the environment especially if you use them for less than around 12 years. Most fake plastic trees come from China many contain plastics that are not biodegradable. I don’t mind fake trees, but saying categorically that they are better for the environment is false. |
| Not cut your own, but there are two nonprofits selling live trees in Olney: one is by the hospital thrift store and the other is by the Episcopal church. Both on 108. |
