My holiday gift from my family this year is an overnight at a hotel in DC to recharge and have some alone time. Assuming I want to leave the hotel room to eat, what are your favorite spots in DC? We recently moved back to the DC area from out of state so my current restaurant knowledge is limited! Planning to book a hotel somewhere in DC proper, but haven’t picked the hotel yet - so restaurants aren’t limited to any specific part of DC (and if you have a hotel recommendation for a great place to relax and recharge I’d take that too!).
