Bio-banding already exists. In the GA, kids in this scenario already get to play down when they are in 8th grade. This opening will only grow IF aug grade guy gets his way, because those summer bday parents won't stop pushing for it. AND they'll have a great argument.

If they are planning on giving misaligned players opportunties now, based on what makes sense, I bet they did back then.
