What is the wildest conspiracy theory you actually believe?

The wildest theory I believe is the one laid out in the movie Idiocracy. This thread has done nothing to convince me otherwise.

I believe 93 was shot down too. I think the public was fed the "let's roll" story but for me it's all a bridge too far.

I don't think I've ever heard a conspiracy theory I believed. I believe that most things are what they appear to be. Mostly because it's impossible to keep secrets in this day and age, and with regard to anything related to the government, because I just don't think that federal employees are a bunch of liars.

Am I the only one?

He certainly puts his money where his mouth is - like none other.

There is no such video, no such interview, and no evidence that Soros ever said anything like it. This "quote" is entirely fabricated.

Agree - "moon landings were faked" and "chemtrails" and "flat earth" and "climate change is a hoax" and "reptilian overlords" and "5g mind control / covid / whatever else" or "the illuminati / jews / etc control everything" and many many more would be far too big to try and pull off and cover up - requiring a cast of tens of thousands or more, all of whom would have to be so deeply committed and sworn to secrecy as to take it to their deathbeds.

And more often than not, Occam's Razor holds true - that while people love confabulating wild, complex conspiracy theories the real answer is far more likely to be the simple and obvious one, like yes, we did in fact send people to the moon. And we can bounce lasers off of the retroreflectors that the astronauts left behind. And yes, the earth isn't flat, it actually is a spheroid. It just happens to be so big that the curvature is very subtle from our vantage point on its surface and even Eratosthenes of ancient Greece was able to figure that out and calculate an estimated diameter of the earth more than 2000 years ago.

Lol I'm sort of on board with you. As a former fed, I don't believe the government could keep alien corpses a secret for long.

I do think people have seen mysterious things and I love a good ufo story or grainy video. But I don't believe our government is hiding alien corpses at Area 51.
