If state governments insist on quarantining healthcare workers, no one is going to be willing to care for Ebola patients, here or elsewhere.

If I have to be on quarantine for 3 weeks after the last exposure, I can't afford to care for Ebola patients. I have to work and go to school and buy groceries and take care of my kids and send them to school. I need a paycheck.

Amber and Nina got serum very early, which may have made all the difference in the duration of their disease.

ZMAPP is also antibodies. The dose might have been inadequate or it just didn't work. Serum transfusions more likely reduce the intensity of the disease rather than shorten it

Yup, and several other aid agencies already quarantine their volunteers working with ebola patients for three weeks. Pays to do research before just repeating the latest meme.

Gosh Americans are so gullible.the news says there is an outbreak of some type of disease so pharmaceutical companies can make money selling vaccines.wake up.land of the free? More like the land of the easily manipulated.

I have a lot of respect for DWB and the other organizations helping the ebola patients, but in some cases, based on all of the selfie type photos and ages of some volunteers, it seems like some of them just want the street cred and are upset they're being welcomed home with a quarantine which really, they should be more than happy to comply with if they understand the nature of this disease and give a hoot about others.
