Seniors didn't start on Senior night?

That's odd. Most schools like BI schedule less difficult opponents for senior night so seniors can start and get a lot of playing time.

I agree. I think that it comes down to what the coach places value on.

You assume but that’s not reality. Senior night is a home game towards the end of the season (increases the likelihood of good weather). This means, you are probably in the midst of your league games. Changing when league games happen (3rd league game to the last for example) has a compounding effect on everyone else in the league. So the coach picks a game not schedules a specific game for senior night. It’s not SEC football homecoming.

You're right, it's not SEC football. But you're wrong in assuming that it has to be a league game at the end of the season. Coach/AD can choose whomever and whenever they want to play Senior night. Who said that senior night had to be vs league opponent and at the end of season? There is no rule saying such. IMO, whether it's a league game or non-league game, an empathetic coach starts their seniors on senior night.

I agree they can pick any night and any game throughout the season. However, you do it early and it could be one of those freezing rainy nights that we’ve had for the last month and a half. So the coach is making a choice: a likely nice night for a nice event or a likely win that you know you can start anyone.

I hope that the coaches are trying try their best to have a nice night for the seniors. I also think the BI Coach is in her first year and it’s probably a little behind on some of the admin stuff.

As a Vandy grad, I find this offensive.

Certainly either team can win and both have good players. In terms of a Vegas point spread I'd say STAB is favored by 4. Visitation will likely have to score over 10 goals to win unless they get creative and go old school four corners and slow the game down to a crawl. Is Visitation ready to admit they are the underdog and change tactics? I don't think so. Look for offensive fireworks. Stab has a short field similar to visitations home field but a faster playing surface that should help visitation midfield hold up for the entire game. Stab is mostly big and strong on defense so letting them pack it in on the eight is a tough road to victory. They seem to struggle more with extremely high level dodgers rather than the cutters. Visitation should look for quick scoring strikes which they should be able to do with elite level midfield. However Stab has plenty of options on offense and in a run and gun game ya better get back on d. I think visitation hangs in there through mid way of the third quarter then the 84 degress shows up in tired legs. Wind speed is predicted at 7 mph which shouldn't favor either team. If game is tied at the end. The coaches should square off in a braveheart. I think Rassas gets King to bite on a spin dodge and finishes high right for the win. But that's just a guess. Not really familiar with either team.

BI has always made PVI their senior night. It’s not a weather or “doing it for the league” argument.

PVI has beaten BI only once in the history of the series ..

Why are we still talking about this?
