Time to lock the NYT Op-Ed thread?

And I will be honest that I consider the entire, "The only real racism is reverse racism against whites," a form of perpetuating the white supremacist myth of white genocide. This entire thread is rife with that.

It's also devolved into, "Kamala Harris is an unqualified token hire," which is simultaneously racist and sexist...while also being off-topic. BTW, are the "Harris is unqualified," posts mostly from the same person? Because like her or not, sitting senator and former AG from one of the most populous states in the country is clearly qualified for VPOTUS. It's disgusting that someone keeps posting otherwise to score racist and sexist points.

I just locked it. I had already removed the Harris posts. I read the Op-Ed and while I don't think the author is racist, I do think the article was very poor and not worthy of such valuable newspaper real estate. It has a number of short-comings, but given the constant state of victimhood so many fragile white folks live in these days, it was guaranteed to provoke the sort of posts we saw here.

Given the NYT’s fascist party-friendly coverage, I think that’s exactly why it got the real estate it did.
