Where do you get duplicate key fobs made for a vehicle that doesn't need an actual key inserted?

We lost one of the two that we have. Where is a good place to get a new one made?

The dealership. They are about $300 each.

It's going to be way more than $300 for a keyless entry fob. $300 is about right for a dealership doing a regular key. Keyless entry fobs run $500+.

+1. The more the fob does, the more expensive it is. I think the fob for my minivan costs $650 to replace.

There was a vendor set up at Sam's Club. He said he covers all over VA/MD. My Prius '20 key was about $90 cheaper. Made while I shopped. Don't recall the name, bet you could Google it. Lots of orange in the logo

Just did this at the Tpyota dealer. About $200 for the fob, another $105 (and 90 minutes) to code it to your car.

I long for the days of good ol' key-insert ignition, no automated locks (reach over to unlock others' doors), manually rolling up car windows, and the only thing "automatic" was popping the trunk.

That depends on the make of the car. Our Honda fobs are under $200 for extras. The germans are good at getting every possible penny out of owners

You can do this yourself. Purchase the key online, and Google how to program it.

I don’t think so for most cars.

The old Photomat at the Westfield mall in parking lot does it
