Why I loathe ACHS today...

Anonymous
My high schooler's teacher is out on medical leave. On Tuesday, no substitute was provided. No adult. Nothing. Just a classroom of students.
The teacher sent an email on Wednesday, informing kids that she was out for "some time" and to direct questions to the substitute or adult in charge and to work on the assignments in Canvas.
Well half the assignments in canvas are locked for because of what I imagine is a technical error.
There is no adult in charge.
I've emailed the counselor but she is just as helpless as me.
Who do I talk to?

Admin. They need to handle this. If the teacher is using leave, they aren't responsible for anything other than leaving sub plans. Counselors are also not responsible for subs or coverage. This is 100% on the plates of the AP for this subject area.

Sorry to be clueless, but who exactly is admin? Is it a general email address/department or a person I need to find?

The principal and/or assistant principal assigned to the department. At my school there is an assistant principal in charge of each core subjec + electives.

This page includes the addresses for different admins and who is over each subject area.
