Third pregnancy, two awesome little boys at home, just found out we're expecting a GIRL. ("A what? Not a boy? Huh?") I'm shocked, and think it's awesome, and I am terrified.

Girls rock! of course I only have a girl and no boys, so i'm totally biased, but still. even if you're not a total girly-girl, you will have a blast buying little girl clothes. I swear, i spend about twice as much on clothes for my daughter as i do for myself. until they're older, the toys don't differ much from boy toys, so you're probably good there.

Oh, I'm praying this happens to me - just 8 weeks now - but have 2 wonderful boys already and really want to be a mamma to a little girl. I'll add you to my list of people that have had this happen.....I'm kinda tired of people telling me "you have XX% chance of having another boy, you know!"

Oh, I'm praying this happens to me - just 8 weeks now - but have 2 wonderful boys already and really want to be a mamma to a little girl. I'll add you to my list of people that have had this happen.....I'm kinda tired of people telling me "you have XX% chance of having another boy, you know!"

How about who cares what you have and just hope you have a healthy baby. I get so tired of people saying to me, don't you want a boy- I am a dad BTW, I say no, I am just greatful to have healthy kids. 4 girls

Oh, yawn. Does it really have to be said that we all hope we have healthy babies? Am I allowed to say I hope he gets my hair or my husband's eyes? Yes, I was hoping for another boy, because we live in a 2BR and having two of the same sex would make things much easier. I get tired of being told I'm not allowed to dream of anything besides "healthy."

Congrats OP. I have 2 little boys at home as well and found out a couple of months ago that we are expecting a GIRL for our third. DH and I were definitely in shock when the u/s tech told us it was a girl (with a labia and not a penis!). It is fun to think of our little girl with her 2 big brothers watching over her!!!

I'm sure! Most of my girlfriends have boys, and I'm amazed by my girlfriends' new vocabularies!
