| Looking to invest in a nice bakeware set that’ll last a long time. Any recs? |
Op here. Specifically casserole dishes. |
| Le Creuset. I have one of their cheaper ones (without the cover, bought at TJ Maxx), and it's been going strong for over 15 years. |
| Second Le Crueset. I also have a couple of nice pieces from Crate and Barrel. And Williams Sonoma has plenty of nice ones as well. |
| Le Creuset has a whole line of enameled bakeware in vibrant colors. But personally, I prefer simple, classic white Corningware. BTW, if you don't already have a Le Creuset cast iron Dutch oven, you really should get one. It's expensive and heavy, but it's extremely versatile, cooks beautifully, and lasts forever. |

| I have Le Creuset and love it, but have also heard really good things about Caraway. |
| Staub |
+1 truly they are amazing and last forever. |
| Also, don’t be stuck on buying a set. Buy exactly what you need. Spend money on quality not quantity |
| I have a a creuset Dutch oven, braiser, and several ceramic pieces. My go-to for stove to oven to table is the braiser because it’s easy to serve from with low sides. |
| I love our Staub pieces, baking dishes and Dutch oven. On baking dishes, I splurged and bought a covered peace and I’m really surprised at how useful it has been. It is what we go to every time given the choice. No more plastic wrap or foil, just put on the lid and go. More expensive but surprisingly nice! |

Going to buck the Le Creuset trend and recommend Apilco. Another French porcelain producer and their stuff is really great. We have the casserole dishes, tulip bowls, and gratins of several sizes. Originally purchased to pair with our formal china, but they have become weekly workhorses in our kitchen. You can typically get them 20% off at WS.
My LC bakeware pieces were all produced in Thailand and one cracked within 2 years of use. Dutch oven is still going strong tho. https://www.williams-sonoma.com/m/products/apilco-porcelain-deep-oval-roaster/?pkey=ctabletop-apilco |
| I like the regular glass ones. I don’t think this is something that needs to be “high end.” The cheap ones last forever. |

Yep, Le Creuset is worth the money. Ceramic in general is great.
The one thing I'll say is, however, silicone muffin tins. Totally life changing. So much easier I make muffins, egg bites and similar an order of magnitude more since I got them. |
