| My brother has asked me to make him a rum cake for his birthday. Not the typical Bundt rum cake, but where we grew up there was a caterer who made layered rum cakes with pastry cream between the layers. I've found recipes for Italian rum cakes online, but none that have received consistently good reviews, and Epicurious and Cook's Illustrated don't have anything that seems to fit. |
