Theragun

is it worth it? does it really help reduce soreness?

I LOVE my theragun. I have a lot of tightness in my shoulders, get carpal tunnel like symptoms from typing all day, and have a tight IT band. It helps with all of those. I especially like the "programs" it has on the app that target specific needs.

This may sound dumb but how do you get to your shoulder? Do you need someone to help you?

I have an Amazon copy and love it.

I have the one that is shaped like a triangle. You can hold it different places to get different spots. I've never had an issue not being able to reach somewhere on my back on my own.

We have the Costco version. We love it! Great quality, various attachments. Gets the job done.

I had a pulled muscle (something?) in my left glute from a kettlebell workout. Lived with ongoing nagging pain for a year until I finally saw an Orthopedic Doctor. He ran X-rays decided surgery was not needed. He recommended the Theragun. I was healed in 3 weeks. Can’t believe I waited so long.

Does it work on your back as well? I worry it would be too hard.

How does it work on your hand? I don't have one, so I am not 100% familiar with how they work. I also have pain from keyboard work all day.

The program has me do my forearms, biceps, top of the pectoral and palms of the hand. Really loosens all those muscles involved in typing all day.

Yes, but you would obviously need someone to do it for you unless you're double jointed

NP. If anyone can link to a specific one that they recommend, I’d appreciate it! There’s an overwhelming number of options ranging from $30-300… many thanks!

Is it the best "personal massager"? I've heard good things about "AchedAway".
