Expectant and Postpartum Moms
|
Last time I was pregnant (2008) we went to the 3d/4d place in Fairfax. They seemed to run a special every month for $99 (valentine's day, mother's day, father's day, spring, etc) but I have been checking and the cheapest 3d/4d package is $175 and includes a DVD and everything...
We just want a 3d/4d peek at this little one and a few pictures like we had last time but I don't want to spend nearly $200... is there anywhere else or are there any coupons floating around? We're in NOVA. |
| That should say 2008... |
Anyone?

| I had 3D ultrasound - it was what the hospital (Johns Hopkins) had as part of normal service. They printed pictures for me. Maybe just ask your doctor if its an option at your hospital and if they'll print pictures. The pics didn't cost us anything extra. Our insurance covered the cost of the ulstrasound because it was part of routine 20week check-up. |

why would someone put the child through it just for curiosity????

What are you putting your child through by having one extra ultrasound? Considering how many high-risk moms have a high number of ultrasounds throughout their pregnancies, what is damaging about one "fun" ultrasound? |
Could you explain the point of your multiple punctuation marks? It comes across as rude. |

research is not clear enough on the effects of the waves on the baby. in order to get good images the levels are set higher and these places don't have personel trained in the
medical field. false reasurance is also a big thing and it can play the other way around like the lady freaking out because the cord was around the baby's neck. I'm sorry I don't have the link for the publication by ACOG re this issue. very disturbing... |

OP, to directly answer your question, check out this website, for reasonably priced 3d/4d ultrasounds.....
