Progesterone suppositories after IVF - what is your dose?

| I've read/heard different things regarding dosing of progesterone suppositories following IVF. What have people been on? What clinic are you seen at? |

IVF at SG; endometrin--300 mg daily--3 suppositories/day.
once pregnant, it's reduced to 200 mg per day. forget when exactly. |

| CFA --entometrin 3 times per day and 1 cc of PIO shots every other day. |

| I used Endometrin suppositories after the fresh IVF cycle and am now moving towards a frozen cycle. Initially my RE thought we'd use the progesterone injections but when I asked him about why the Endometrin wouldn't work, he said that would be fine as well. We haven't started yet so I'm curious if anyone has had a successful pregnancy/healthy delivery using the Endometrin vs the injections. |

| I have done two fresh IVF cycles. For both I used 100 mg Endometrin inserts 3x day. If you become pregnant, they decrease your dosage over time until you're off the Endometrin at around 10 weeks. The first cycle was not successful and the second cycle was. Thankfully I never had to use the injections and they never even asked me if I wanted to (I definitely would have said no; those IM shots stink!). I was at SGF. |
