| Moved here from Portland, OR where I was 15 minutes from Bob’s Red Mill and could buy 25lb bulk bags as needed for my breads. Where can I do that around here? I’m in NW, near DuPont. Thanks for any ideas! |

Azurestandard.com
They have more than a dozen kinds of organic flour - selling 25 LB and 50 LB bags. https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/food/flour/whole-wheat/durum-semolina/semolina-durum-wheat-flour-unifine-organic/21444?package=FL382 I order from there all the time. They will ship directly to your house or for a cheaper price - assign a pick-up point. The closest pick-up near D.C. is over the river in Arlington. |
| You can buy 5lb bags at the grocery store. How much can the difference be unless you’re buying whole sale? Compared to travel/shipping etc. |
It’s not just about savings, though you can save around .30/pound. It’s more convenient to not have to buy multiple small bags. |

I bought a 25 pound bag of flour at Costco for $12.99. The same brand is 6$ at a grocery store for 5 pounds. There is a huge difference in benefit to buying bulk over a single bag. Now, if I pay for shipping there is no cost savings unless I want a specific flour not found at grocery stores. |
| You have to buy a membership to Costco. |
| I like to order from Janie's Mill. They ship. |
OP here. Thank you! I didn’t know Azure had pickup points here. |
