| Ruffles with a spinach-onion dip. (The "trashiest Thanksgiving food" thread inspired me.) The dip was enjoyed; the chips disappeared quickly. |

Everything!
I roasted a bone in turkey breast and it was just perfect! I’ve had trouble in the past getting them done but not dry. Sides: mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, sautéed green beans (still bright with a crunch), sage sourdough stuffing, sumac roasted carrots and parsnips. They all came out perfect. Oh and pumpkin pie. Crust was slightly burnt, but at least it wasn’t soggy on the bottom! |

Our carry out and no extended family was so nice. |
| We're at the ocean for a few days and cheated with the cooking this year. Precooked turkey from Whole Foods and a couple of sides -:- pretty good quality and so much less work. Left more time to enjoy the beach. |

But the real successes were: All the adults started drinking wine around 11am, do we were all in a great mood when it was time to eat at 1pm. Postprandial family kickball game. All ages played, and we had a blast! |
| I brined a turkey breast in buttermilk for the first time and then roasted it with just salt, pepper and butter. Color was great and it tasted great. |
| Our Christian family hosted two of our daughter’s non-binary friends from college. All went well. |
| I made the spatchcocked, buttermilk brined turkey from the New York Times. First time doing either method, and it was magnificent. Best turkey I’ve ever had. |
