| Oh man, are you having to sit in a kitchen somewhere witnessing this? I have never, ever taken the temp of a pumpkin pie. I have cooked so many, usually two at once. Once the middle is just setting, you can pull it out. It will continue to cook. Just a couple of wiggles to the plate will let you tell visually the set status. |
| It’s the easiest thing in the world to look at the pie and see if it’s done. No need to stick things in it. |
