I'm looking to make some Mothers Day brunch reservations in Old Town and will have a 7 month old. Anyone have suggestions for a restaurant with good brunch but also baby friendly? Probably looking for standard American fare.
TIA! |
The columbia firehouse is great, the food is wonderful and I usually see children/babies there on Sunday's after church. I would also recommend The Majestic, great food and it isn't too quiet

I just used the site below to search for brunch for an upcoming birthday. Click on "Restaurants & Nightlife" at the top and you can search on that page. There is a subcategory for "weekend brunch" on that page. We are looking at going to Columbia Firehouse, Daniel O'Connells, Overwood or Union Street Public House. I have had dinner at all of these places, but not brunch.

| I've had brunch at O'Connells, Overwood and Union Street Public House and all were lovely and kid friendly, I think I liked Overwood best. Had dinner once at Columbia Firehouse and it was fantastic, I bet their brunch is good too. And they have some outdoor seating. |
| most baby friendly place is Chadwicks. It's great. |
| Great suggestions! Thanks so much! |

Really? Looks a bit swanky for my 7 month old...no? |
Actually, the upstairs room is very casual. We had brunch there on the day of my daughter's baptism (she was 7 weeks old) and thought it worked out well. |
| We like Bilbo Baggins. |
They love kids here, and the menu has something for literally everyone. (and you can't beat the 2.00 mimosa specials. )

| I am sure Chadwicks will be BURSTING with children on Mothers day. We went on a random Sunday and it was INSANE. But if you have reservations you will be fine. It's got a menu for everyone like the pp said. It's not gourmet or anything but I'm always happy with my meal. I cannot say the same for Southside 815. Everytime I go there I have such high hopes and every time my meal is terrible. |
