Best Rolls - TG Dinner

Anonymous
Looking for recommendations for your favorite rolls, for TG Dinner. Not looking to make them from scratch, but okay with using a mix where all I need to do is add eggs - for example, or even something like those Pillsbury rolls. maybe something from Trader Joes? I dunno- help!

I just made very simple corn bread from a mix for TG.

Sister Schubert's Yeast Rolls Parker House Style in the freezer section.

We buy them at Giant but I know that other grocery stores also carry them.

+1 to cornbread. I like yeasty wheat rolls and I don't know a mix that gets that right. Although good ol brown and serve rolls are decently yeasty.

Another vote for Sister Schubert's. Or GRANDS if you want biscuits.

Well now I have to try Sister Schubert's!

Sister Schubert’s are good. Smitten Kitchen fan rolls with chives if you want to make some from scratch. They’re so pretty and yummy.

I tried them and was not a fan. They felt too airy and cheap.

I think Giant's bakery has a nice variety of rolls. Also like Sara Lee Artesano rolls if you can find them - I used to buy them through Amazon Fresh.

I am trying Rhodes frozen yeast rolls for this first time this year. They have great reviews. I will try to remember to report back after Thanksgiving!
