Is there somewhere to buy interesting candy in bulk in the DMV?
I need a bunch for a gingerbread house decorating party--things like necco wafers, gummies, gum drops, sour tape/belts, etc. Thank you! |

There’s a cool candy store in Tyson’s Corner mall. Lolli & Pops. They have fun bulk candy.

Ikea.
I was going to make the same suggestion. Great candy store! I live in DC and I'm not at Tyson's often but I make it a point to stop in there and buy some goodies any time I make it over there. Yum! |

I feel like a lot of malls have at least one candy store. Trying to think of the actual names of any of them, but maybe try the store directory of your nearest mall.
There's a "Hey Sugar" store in Chinatown, right by the Verizon Center, that has all that stuff.
Doesn't Wegmans have bulk candy? I feel like they have a section with bins at the one in Alexandria - I usually try to whiz by it because I've got my kid with me but I think they might have a reasonable selection.
Fun! We saved up Halloween candy, which made the strategy different. Reaching into the bowl for the coolest looking candy instead of the most delicious.

Wegmans in Fairfax used to have bulk candy, but I haven’t actually been there in 2 years.
There is also a candy store n Montgomery Mall that sells the bulk stuff.
Fresh Market. There is one in Rockville.
Star Vending in se dc where the ice cream truckndrivers and street vendors buy their supplies. Crazy place but welm worth it. Odd hours so check if they are open before you go.
