| WPI is on my junior's list, for computer science. What do you all know about it? |

Strong in project based learning and internships, so students develop an impressive portfolio to use in the job search.
Also, I constantly mispronounce the name because I don't have a wicked Boston accent. |
| Top choice for my senior for comp sci. Hoping for 15k merit, looks like females get more in the 25k merit range (this is after my own analysis only). Nice campus, gets negative comments about their food on Reddit. Collaborative environment, not weed out. Can get NR for a couple classes and still graduate on time (basically drop/fail the class but they don't give grades below a C). A lot to like, besides the price tag. Recommend a tour for sure. Seven week quarters with three classes each. Extremely conservative for Covid rules. |

Wuss-tah (Or Wusster if you're not Norm from Cheers)
I grew up nearby. It has always been highly regarded in the MA/New England area. Notably all the women I grew up with who got engineering degrees - a million years ago now - went to WPI. It was also a fun school even then. Worcester has had its struggles, but there's a decent college community in the city and a commuter rail directly to Boston. |
