Fabulous dessert ideas to bring for Thanksgiving? To make or buy

Anonymous
I'm in charge of bringing a dessert this year and would like it to be great. No pies. I'd like something in individual pieces/ easy to eat since people are usually up and mingling then rather than still at the table. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Go to a restaurant supply store and get little individual bowls or cups with small spoons. Make homemade vanilla ice cream but add pumpkin pie spice mix. Scoop and serve cups on a tray as if you were passing wine glasses.

Macaroon tower. Either make or buy.

Can you make tiny pumpkin pie bites? People usually like those traditional flavors on Thanksgiving.

Most people consider pie great on Thanksgiving. Small apple tart?

Something in bar form because they’re easier to make and cut up — pecan pie bars, pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting.

Will other people be bringing pies? I really only eat pie on Thanksgiving- 3 kinds! pumpkin, apple and pecan are usually present. I doubt I'd go for another dessert even if it's out on the table.

OP here -- I should have qualified. Other people are bringing multiple kinds of pies. I thinking chocolate...something?

Fresh Baguette has delicious and beautiful french pastries.

Praline is amazing, too (probably better), but only one location. The Walnut Dacquoise and the Mango Mousse cakes are incredible.

Look up chocolate dessert boards. Can you pull together something like that?

Chocolate-covered strawberries- either plain or decorated as a turkey if there are kids there have been a hit in past years. The fruit breaks up the heavy pies and the turkeys are a hit with the kids.
