Leesburg winery for solo traveller

Anonymous
Can anyone recommend a Leesburg winery for a solo traveler to visit for a couple hours. I was turned off by the site that wouldn’t let me reserve a spot for less than two people…

Does it have to be in Leesburg? Or just anywhere near there?

Also, are you primarily there for the scenery or the wine?

Most online reservation systems do not allow for 1 person, they default to 2+ Try calling and making a reservation via phone.

Just make a reservation for 2 and when you get there say you're only one now.

Just go hang out at Maggie Malick’s.

We love 8 Chains North. No need for a reservation. Very low key, and they often have music on the weekends. Outside of Leesburg proper.

Preferably within 20 min drive and mix of scenery/wine. Probably mostly scenery.

I love Maggie Malick's, nice people too. But isn't it out in Purcellville?
