My baby is breach and I've been told that he's too big to move at this point. Will my belly still drop? |
How far along are you and how big are they estimating db will be?
My db was estimated to be over 10 lbs (she was 8lbs 9oz - estimates are notoriously inaccurate with an admitted margin of error of 25%). She flipped four times during the last 4-6 weeks. Ended up head down. So, have heart and good luck! |
Breech babies butts can become engaged in the pelvis, so yes, you can still "drop", though if he's breech you don't really want him to! Even though it may be too late, you might want to look at www.spinningbabies.com and try some of the recommended exercises for turning breech babies. You can also contact a chiropractor trained in the Webster method to see if they think there's a chance they could get the baby to turn.
Good luck! |
I'm 37 weeks. My last baby was head down but came out a little over 10lbs. I'm only 5'2"... They are predicting 10+ lbs for this one. Last time, they were predicting 8 1/2 lbs. |
