Ds is going to a classmate’s bday party this afternoon. Any thoughts on what’s a good gift for this age? My go-to is usually a lego set, but I feel like maybe they’re starting to grow out of that?

Does he like sports? Just got a light up softball for DD’s friend because it gets dark so early now and she can still throw on thre yard when it is dark. I have seen soccer, basketball, football, too. Magnetic dart board. Board game like Risk or ticket to Ride.

The creator and architecture sets are pretty advanced, and might be good options (though not sure about price). My son that age doesn’t really play with legos, but really likes sets that can displayed.
