Experience with Holy Cross classes

Anonymous
I will be delivering at Holy Cross this summer. We are considering taking classes (childbirth and preparing for a baby). Does anyone have any experience with HCH's classes? Were they worth the time and money? Thanks in advance.

I took 2 classes there -- safety and something about bringing home baby -- both were good, we thought. One taught CPR. The other talked about how to change diapers and some other very basic stuff that we wanted a heads-up about. Worth the time and money, for us at least.

We took the "how to take care of baby" class, and it was pretty good I thought. Just two evenings, a few hours each.

I just took the three day class (2 evenings and 1 weekend day). The evenings were tough because after work I'm just usually wiped out and starving! But the class was very informative. The powerpoints were a bit cheesy but the instructor walked us through a lot of relaxation methods, etc which I think helped my husband a lot (now he knows how he can help). Also, sometimes just talking to other expecting moms and hearing their plans and expectations helps too!
