How much is an afternoon sitter?

Realistically, how much would I have to pay for someone to come watch my little kids while I ferry older kids around, say 3 - 6, five days a week? I know this is prime territory.

I did say five days a week, although 3 or 4 would also be doable.

I think the problem is finding someone who is available from 3-6.

Not sure about that routine, but for my weekend or evening (date night/afternoon) sitters I pay $15-20/hour for one child. My sitters are adults; you could probably find a student for less.

I have a HS age person in moco twice a week from 340-630. We pay $15 an hour for one kid. You are looking for a unicorn but your best bet is to find someone with a high schooler who might want the money.

Agree you should look for a high schooler

Someone with professional experience would realistically be $28hr+ for that small timeframe

Hugh school kid is your best bet if the younger kid(s) isn’t a true infant.

We pay $25 an hour, three hours a day five days a week guaranteed.

Your hours are the most sought after by parents and the turnover in sitters is unreal. The sitter gets a full time job or her college class schedule changes or she joins the high school band.
