Does anybody have a positive or negative review of the Always Pan? I’ve seen a bunch of ads for it and a few bloggers I follow rave about it, but would love some more real world feedback. I have a nice, but 15 year old, set of Calphalon and could use an addition of something new/different/better than a standard fry pan.

I've had one for about one year. The nonstick surface has held up so far. It makes great omelettes, crepes, scrambled eggs, etc. It's easy to clean.
I still use my enameled cast iron Dutch oven for larger dishes like stews, etc. |
I like the idea, but the way the lady says, "Always PAAHHHNN" on the commerical puts me off.
I’d never pay over $100 for a nonstick skillet, personally. The “nonstick” always wears off after a few years.
I just don't get it. What makes it so special?
I have one and the non-stick has definitely worn off. It was great for the first couple months, have had it for a year. But maybe I wasn't careful enough to only use it on medium heat. I wouldn't buy it again.
I don't get the hype. I can't put it in the dishwasher and can only use it to cook things on low heat. What is the point?
A few bloggers I follow are shilling this pan. I will assume they get it for free and are willing to sing it’s praises. Sorry, I am not buying it.
Wirecutter (NYT’s product review arm) recently reviewed it and said, essentially, that it was overhyped, not great quality, and overall just not worth it. I was also somewhat intrigued by all the Instagram posts I saw, but I thought the review was persuasive. I think it’s just very aggressively marketed.
Drunk purchased it about a month ago (with a coupon) and so far like it a lot!
Anything overly hyped or advertised is probably crap.
It's fine, it was a dumb purchase but it still works as advertised.
Any pan I can’t put in the dishwasher and can only use n low or medium heat isn’t an Aleays pan, it’s an Almost Never pan. I don’t need one of those in my kitchen.
Yes. I like it but I also don’t think it’s worth what it costs. I got it on sale for $95, would never pay $145
It’s in sale now for $95
