Apple based dessert, maybe a bar

Im making a bunch of desserts, preferably avoiding plates and utensils. So, mini muffins and cookies. I'd like to add something apple based. Maybe a bar of some sort? I don't know - what's your favorite apple based finger food dessert?

It’s a little involved but this is my absolute favorite Apple dessert and you can eat pieces with your hands. Apple slab pie.

Oh my! I think if I make the dough in advance, it shouldn't be too labor intensive. I thought about hand pies but that would have been way too labor intensive for a day when I'm making several desserts. This is a nice compromise.

Oh I hope you like it! Just fyi I have always made more crust than the recipe calls for and it's nice to never have to worry about getting the bottom crust to go over the sides.

We do slab pies a lot. They are easy and go fast at events. I have also done a hard icing to make them like a fancy pop-tart.
